After completing his Bachelor degree in Science, Mr. Ramesh Poddar joined his family business in 1978. With his foresight and diligence, he took brand Siyaram’s to the pinnacle of success, making it one of the most exalted fabric manufacturing companies in India.
Under the aegis of his father Shri. Dharaprasad Poddar, he learnt everything about the trade and how to foster productivity.
In 1982, he took full charge of the business, offering some of the most innovative and dynamic products developed in the Indian textile business. Becoming India’s market leader in blended suitings, setting up a 100000+ strong retailer network, ensuring availability of products across the country and taking a giant leap from the Indian markets to the global arena: Orchestrating all this was Mr. Ramesh Poddar.

After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Mr. Pawan Poddar, like Mr. Ramesh Poddar, joined his family business in 1978. With his support and keen insight, brand Siyaram’s went on to become one of the most successful fabric manufacturing companies in India.
Mr. Pawan Poddar took up the responsibility of Yarn Dyeing business and has been instrumental in setting up processes capable of producing innovative hues and designs in yarn dyeing. As the Jt. Managing Director of Siyaram Silk Mills Limited, he looks into all important aspects of Siyaram Silk Mills Limited’s business.
He is quite popular in the social arena. He’s an active member of various trade associations and industrial bodies such as FAITMA, BTRA and TIMA and has championed causes relating to the textile industry in many forums.
